Premièrement, il est possible de mettre une tablette Samsung facilement et la tenir en place comme il se doit... Jusqu'ici tout est parfait.

Deuxièmement, les coussins de plastique pour empêcher que le métal soit en contact direct avec le bois on commençait à décoller ce qui a rendu le produit instable et est tombé. Nous avons été obligé de Percé 2 trous dans la base et le vice directement dans la tête du lit.

First off. The mount for this cab be positioned EITHER horizontally or vertically. There are mounting holes for either. This is something some of the other reviews indicated otherwise on.

Second, you need to make sure to tighten or loosen all of the joints until you're happy with the holding power and mobility. If it's not holding your phone or iPad you need to tighten it up. To hold a new iPad it doesn't even have to be that tight. You should not have to crank down on them.

But this is super stable, no bounciness at all when holding objects. It is also pleasantly articulate-able. But if you're mounting this beside your bed you might want 8 inches between the bed and the mount so that can easily make the device it's holding flush with the bed edge.

The mount is all metal and comes with sticky rubber on the inside top. You can peal the plastic if you want the extra adhesion or leave it on. The circle on the bottom that tightens up does have a slightly raised edge so to avoid marking you might want to either knock that down with a file or place your own thin rubber on it. The mount does not flex open when tightened and I was able to make it tight enough that if I wanted to pull it off I would be damaging or breaking the surface it's mounted to.

It's seem pretty great, the only issue I have is that it does not want to stay in place. We got it to use in our van when we are traveling. The lock jam nuts are just not quite strong enough and the springs over power it and it ends up extending anyways. It's a little better when it has weight on it but its tough to fold up and put away. We ended up using a tie wrap on it when we want to put it away. Other than that its pretty handy.

It's a 9/10 product. So I'm gonna preface this by saying I would recommend buying it.

The issue I had:
I tightened everything down, but the iPad was constantly drooping down and twisting with gravity. Mind you, I don't even have the largest iPad (I have the 11" model). The double ended ball and socket system at the end doesn't have enough grip / tight enough tolerances.

My fix:
Guitar wire. I opened up the mechanism and put a single guitar wire through it. Now it doesn't twist or droop

Where has this been all my life?!?!
This is hands down one of the best purchases, if not THE BEST purchase I've ever made on Amazon.
And I spend thousands of dollars on Amazon.

Mind you, these are my first impressions right after setup. I will update my review in a few months.

1. It's sturdy. All of its parts are metal, the only plastic bits are the knows and the cell phone holder, and the 360 degree joint casing of the phone holder. The clamp is a good size to support the arm.
2. It's long. Longer than one of my arms. Looks like close to 1 meter when completely outstretched.
3. It has 5 joints. Going from the base: #1- where arm attaches to base. Can spin when loosened.
#2- Arm elbow. Elbow action. #3- arm to phone elbow. Elbow action. #4- Phone connector Elbow. 360 degree sphere joint. #5- phone connector. 360 degree circle joint.
4. The phone holder extends quite large. However, it's resting position is too wide to hold a phone from the sides. It is long and could only hold a phone from top and bottom. I like this though because it doesn't interfere with my phone buttons that way.

The only downside to this thing is that I wish it included a regular screw on camera mount.

Easy to put together. There was only one part I wasn't sure....it seemed that the section that holds the tablet wasn't sturdy enough. All I had to do was rotate it around once and it tightened and has been perfect since. This is the piece with the thicker silver part. Sorry should have taken a pic. But once I got that down, I can't tell you how easy and secure it has been. I love it!

I love this, honestly I don't care if anyone thinks I'm lazy. When I go to bed and I wanna watch a show, my phone sit nicely in this contraption (rather than by my boobs...)and I don't have to worry about whether or not it will hold, It is super sturdy. I have not tried it with out tablet...because it has a thick cover but it basically stretches to your needs and keeps it there by tension. I do find that when I am looking for movies it wiggles a bit. But I'm not fussy so I LOVE IT! well worth the money. My wrists don't hurt from having to hold the phone in my hands... 5 stars for me!

I bought this tab stand a while ago. I wrote an honest review on how bad it was. I contacted customer service requesting stronger springs and They replied fairly quickly. I explained my issues with their product and I believe they read my previous review. They went above and beyond to make it right. They took on board my issues and sent an updated version for me to try. The stand isn't perfect. But it's a greater improvement from the one I originally bought. It now actually holds the weight of my tablet in any position without falling. No longer worried about losing my fingers. The jaws of the stand could be manual instead of spring loaded. I have a case on my tab that has a strap that I can hang over the jaw plate so I don't have to open them. For my needs it's what I wanted and what I expected for less than £20.
